Oh. My. God. It’s about time. Today, Vodafone announced that they’re launching the iPhone in Australia. While that may not mean much to most people, I almost peed my pants when I read that email, I can tell you.

Even though there’s precious little information, the fact that it’s with Vodafone means I don’t have to sign up with a new carrier. Unless they keep their ridiculous data pricing the same, and I have to look at moving to 3. No point in having an iPhone if you don’t use it, after all.

Now we sit back and wait - I reckon Optus will announce they have the iPhone as well in the next week or so - my guess is that Vodafone just wanted to say “First!”

I can’t wait.
