• @Bruff Finally got it live: www.bttr.reviews/fetch-tv-...

  • @Bruff Also, my first draft had a lot more swearing.

  • @billbennettnz I’m with you. It’s absolute garbage.

  • @odd right!?!

  • @canion it’s such an awesome venue. What are you watching?

  • @Bruff Number 1: The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill
Pros: Her cover of Can't Take my Eyes of You is pretty good
    Cons: So much filler
Verdict: Ugh. Wouldn't have made my top 20. Apple's methodology was too hip-hop focused

  • @Bruff Number 2: Thriller by Michael Jackson
Pros: Incredible talent and catchy riffs
Cons: The songs that weren't hit singles feel a bit out of place
Verdict: Yeah, this deserves to be here. Classic

  • @Bruff Number 3: Abbey Road by The Beatles
Pros: Iconic in every way, probably my pick for number one
Cons: Octopus's garden is still so weird
    Verdict: Should have been higher

  • @Bruff Number 4: Purple Rain by Prince and The Revolution
Pros: Funky, poppy and 80s all in one
Cons: The only version on Apple Music in Australia went on forever with demos and B-sides
Verdict: I don't love Prince, but I can appreciate his music and this is a great album

  • @Bruff Number 5: Blond by Frank Ocean
Pros: I didn't hate it, though I expected I would
    Cons: It was completely forgettable
Verdict: I had honestly wiped this album from my mind as soon as it finished. There was nothing memorable about it. Definitely didn't deserve to be in the top 5

  • @Bruff Number 6: Songs in the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder
    Pros: Emotional, and catchy
Cons: Wouldn't make my top 10, but is a good album
Verdict: I never knew Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise so liberally plagiarised Stevie Wonder. Hope Wonder got a big chunk of the profits from that track

  • @Bruff Number 7: Good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
    Pros: Pass
Cons: I'll never understand how this is in the top 50, let alone the top 10
Verdict: Nope. There was nothing here for me

  • @Bruff Number 8: Back to Black by Amy Winehouse
Pros: Was a bit more jazzy than I was expecting
Cons: I probably need to hear it again, but that's probably not so much a con as a comment
Verdict: Seems like it was a bit ahead of its time, while being completely retro

  • @Bruff Number 9: Nevermind by Nirvana
Pros: Iconic from start to finish
    Cons: Deserves to be higher
Verdict: This is my music, my generation. Loved it

  • @Bruff Number 10: Lemonade by Beyoncé
    Pros: She can definitely sing
Cons: Most of it didn't do much for me
Verdict: If she leant more into the acoustic music to back her songs, I think I'd find them more appealing

  • @Bruff Number 11: Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Pros: Classic, memorable tunes with great music and vocals
Cons: I cannot hear The Chain without thinking of Guardians of the Galaxy
Verdict: Definitely worthy of its high position

  • @Bruff Number 12: OK Computer by Radiohead
Pros: Ooh, catchy, tight music from start to finish, with a bit of awesome weirdness thrown in
Cons: I wasn't sold on the weirdness
Verdict: I never really got into the whole album when it came out, though I liked the singles. Will listen again

  • @Bruff Number 13: The Blueprint by Jay-Z
    Pros: Pass
    Cons: I didn't like it
Verdict: I'm at the point I can't even try to review the hip-hop albums objectively. I just don't like them at all

  • @Bruff Number 14: Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
    Pros: It's music
Cons: I don't understand the hype around this. His voice is grating, and the lyrics seem nonsensical a lot of the time
    Verdict: Nah, not for me

  • @Bruff Number 15: 21 by Adele
Pros: Stunning vocals, catchy tunes and moving music
Cons: I dunno, I really liked most of this
Verdict: Oh, I liked this one. I found it both moving and catchy

  • @Bruff Number 16: Blue by Joni Mitchell
Pros: Simple acoustic music and vocals
Cons: I don't feel like it's anything you can sing along to
Verdict: Obvious talent, though I found the vocals and lyrics hard to connect with

  • @Bruff Number 17: What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
    Pros: A really beautiful album
Cons: Some tracks are maybe a bit too similar
Verdict: I think I need a few listens of this to get into it a bit more. I enjoyed it, but I think it's deeper than one listen allows you to grasp

  • @Bruff Number 18: 1989 by Taylor Swift
Pros: Fun pop with memorable tracks
    Cons: It goes on forever
Verdict: It's definitely a fun album

  • @Bruff Number 19: The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Pros: None that I can think of
Cons: I hated it. It was one of the worst rap albums I've listened to so far
Verdict: I can't help but think the only reason this rates so highly is because he's effectively an Apple employee now

  • @Bruff Number 20: Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Pros: I've only ever listened to "Best of" Beach Boys. It was interesting to hear the album
Cons: I don't think it's lyrically the strongest album, though the music is solid
Verdict: Would be keen to hear it all again
