Pour one out for passport stamps

Traveling to Singapore for work highlights the diminishing personal connection to international travel as digital processing replaces traditional passport stamps.

I’m in Singapore for a work trip for the first time – I’ve only ever stopped over here before. I was shocked that my passport didn’t get stamped.

Just a quick scan, a thumb print, and I was out the door.

Makes me sad to think that my kids may not be able to look through old passports to see where they have been, as everything becomes digital…
