@alexkidman we all suffer for our craft đ

@nick.bttr.reviews My kids were literally playing it yesterday. Itâs timeless.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews The secret? Sonyâs new QN3 processor (7x faster than XM5) + 12 microphones working together. Itâs next-level compared to AirPods Max and Sonos Ace.
Sound quality is exceptional too - crisp and detailed across every genre I tested. -
@nick.bttr.reviews Battery life is fantastic: 30 hours with ANC on, plus quick charging (3 mins = 3 hours playback). Perfect for long flights or extended work sessions.
Comfort is solid - I wore these for hours with glasses on without the brain-crushing feeling some headphones give you.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews The downsides?
- Premium price wonât suit every budget
- Limited spatial audio support vs competitors
- Touch controls take some getting used to
- Clamp a bit tight when worn around neck
-
@nick.bttr.reviews Bottom line: If youâre serious about blocking out the world and want flagship audio quality, these deliver.
Not cheap, but they justify the investment for frequent travellers, remote workers, or serious listeners.

@nick.bttr.reviews My kids were mortified. My wife just looked at me , laughed and accepted it.

@manton Agree itâs the Notes section thatâs the biggest issue. I understand providing a way to engage as a brand with other short-form platforms is important, but the fact each note doesnât have its own URL on your site, so it canât be linked to or embedded in a full post, means itâs very limited.

@nick.bttr.reviews Who did I miss?
-
@bibbybhoy.bsky.social Ugh, that sucks.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews Ideally, that includes the weekly news roundup on a Friday, plus at least one tech or appliance review per week (two when I can manage it!). I also want to write 1-2 deeper features or interviews a week as well, depending on bandwidth.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews My goal is to offer more insight to paid subscribers on every article as well. For example, my most recent reviews have a paid section that offers direct specs comparisons with similar or competing products, a handful of tips/tricks to get the most out of the product, and one âfinal thoughtâ.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews My weekly news roundup, meanwhile, has a list of news articles, but paid subscribers get a deeper dive into three of the weekâs biggest stories, with some commentary thrown in.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews As expected, changing things up kind of worked against me at first. I had a handful of people unsubscribe when they started receiving my reviews as emails. I get it, it was a change from what I originally promised.
-
@nick.bttr.reviews But I feel like Iâm starting to find a good groove with the writing. My biggest problem is self-marketing. Iâm terrible at promoting myself. I understand how important it is, but also hate doing it.

@nick.bttr.reviews Rock Band 4 still rocks around this house. Not as often as Iâd like, but itâs the one game everyone here really enjoys playing together.

@edzitron.com And the cynic in me wants to believe that even the name âioâ was little more than a ploy to steal attention (and maybe search traffic) from Googleâs I/O announcements.
