• Daughter had her piano performance today and she smashed it. So very proud of her. And not just because she’s looking over my shoulder as I write this. 🤣🤣

  • Finished him. He is magnificent.

The detail is incredible. The building was fun. I need more.

  • Really trying to savour every moment of this Lego build.

Top down look at the Lego Mandalorian helmet. I’ve just finished the top of the helmet.
  • Started building my Father’s Day present tonight.

    This is the way.

  • Ingredients prepped to build up an epic pasta for dinner.

  • I’ve been neglecting the blog, so completely missed that there was a Micro.blog photo challenge.

I don’t know if I would describe this as abstract, but it’s the best I can do at short notice.

  • The past week there’s been a bit of step change in performance for BTTR.

It has only been a week, so it’s too early to tell if it’s an actual change, but it has me giddy with optimism.

    Don’t crush my dreams, universe!

  • Wow. Ahsoka is perfect.

From the opening crawl (in red!) to the parallels with the Rebels finale at the end of episode 2, it was the perfect Star Wars show. Epic lightsaber battles, stunning locations and droids, and lovable characters, I loved every second.

  • I have really struggled to get out of first gear today. I’m chugging along, but in fits and starts.

  • It has been about a month since I started at Compare Broadband, and I’ve slipped into a habit of doing an extra half day’s work on BTTR after I clock off from CB.

So far it’s okay. My energy levels are good and I’m enjoying the work on my own site.

But I need to watch it. This time last year, I was almost completely burnt out, and had little motivation for anything at all.

  • Words cannot capture my disdain for GA4. It’s ridiculous how shitty the experience is.

  • Side of the house is coming along infinitely better than the 10 previous attempts. Still a long way to go though.

  • At some point in the not so distant past, somebody vomited on the plane I just boarded.

I can’t see it, but I can smell it.

It lingers on the air, seemingly longing to repeatedly venture into my nostrils.

  • Australia’s snowy mountains may not compare globally, but they still looked nice flying over them this morning.
